What you're looking at
This network visualisation maps the AI landscape as a system of players and interactions, showing not just who is connected, but how often and in what capacity, giving a structural picture of how capital, infrastructure and influence flow across the ecosystem.
Players — the dots. Node size reflects cumulative interaction weight. Larger dots are more frequently active across events.
Interactions — the lines. Line thickness indicates frequency. Thicker lines mean the two players interact more often. Arrows show direction: from source to target.
This is where the visualisation becomes analytical rather than decorative. Three things to look for:
1. Hub dominance
Nodes with the most and thickest connections (SpaceX/xAI, Anthropic, Capital Influx, Exit & Liquidity) are the current gravitational centres of the AI economy. They are the actors whose moves propagate most widely across the system.
2. Cluster tension
The loose triangle of Companies, Investors and Financial Keywords is not decorative — it maps a structural dependency. Investors flow capital toward companies; companies generate metrics that feed back into financial keywords; financial keywords (Capital Influx, Exit & Liquidity) then attract more investors. The visualisation makes this cycle visible.
3. Peripheral signals
Nodes on the outer edge, including China Gov, Iran War, EU/ENISA, Asia Capex Boom, appear smaller and less connected today, but their position signals emerging pressure points entering the system. Thin lines now can become thick lines in future editions.
What this tells you that news headlines don't
A single news story tells you one event happened. This visualisation tells you which players are structurally over-exposed, which relationships are intensifying over time, and where the next capital movement is most likely to originate, because you can see the pattern of repeated interaction, not just isolated moments.
